Doves prepare their nests during the season of spring. The story describes the hardworking dove and how she prepares the nest which is built in stages. After the nest is completed, the dove lays her eggs and hovers over them. The surprise brings the story to a satisfying conclusion —two tiny chicks hatch from the eggs.
